Deriving from the Riesling Italico grape which is harvested when slightly over-ripened then pressed gently. The naturally-decanted grape must ferments in small oak barrels on its own lees for twelve months and is then bottled without undergoing clarification or stabilisation of any type.

A still wine with a strong greenish yellow colour; it has a slow-forming bouquet and after oxidising slightly in the glass, creates a crescendo of sensations from yellow florals and fruits to hints of Mediterranean herbs with mineral and toasty notes. The taste is almost that of a strong, full-bodied, red wine supported by its acidity.

Ideal for accompanying seafood, traditional starters and medium-mature cheeses.
